Welcome to Luxmeter!

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Luxmeter mobile application (“App”), operated by Luxmeter Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Using Our App

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, adapt, or hack the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the App
  • Transfer, sell, or sublicense the App to any third party

App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple, Google, or any other app distribution platform. However, you acknowledge that these platforms are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

Accuracy and Reliability

While we strive to provide accurate light measurements, Luxmeter is not a calibrated scientific instrument. Measurements may vary based on device capabilities, environmental conditions, and other factors. The App should not be used for applications requiring laboratory-level precision or in situations where incorrect measurements could lead to safety issues.

User Content

If our App allows you to save or share measurements, you retain all rights to such content. By sharing content through our App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain our exclusive property. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Netherlands and foreign countries.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes through the App or by other means.
